MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Justice (DOJ) is facing former senator Antonio Trillanes IV and 3 others on a kidnapping complaint with serious illegal detention filed by Davao-based businesswoman Guillermina Barrido.
A prosecutor ordered Trillanes, Atty. Jude Sabio, Jesuit priest Albert Alejo and a Sister Ling of the Convent of the Cannussian Sisters will present these at DOJ-Manila on October 11 and submit their counter-affidavit to cases filed by the PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and Barrido.
The four are accused of kidnapping and detaining Barrido alias Guillermina Arcillas for 2 weeks in December 2016 for allegedly signing a ‘ready-made’ affidavit containing heavy allegations against President Duterte and his family.
Some of the allegations include murder, corruption, existence of Davao Death Squad and illegal drugs.
In a supplemental affidavit of Barrido on August 5, 2019, Alejo and Sabio allegedly took him to the airport and took him to 2 convents in Makati and Quezon City from Dec. 6-21, 2016 where Sister Ling, Alejo and Trillanes prevent her from leaving you as a prisoner.
Trillanes and Alejo have denied the allegations.
